For many California-based house music lovers, 4 days is the countdown to Hard’s annual Haunted Mansion. With an absolutely drool-worthy lineup, a few last minute (yet unreal) additions, and a minimal amount of scheduling conflicts, this 2-day extravaganza is bound to rattle some brains.
The mastermind behind it all, Gary Richards aka Destructo, decidedly created these events to be anti-trance. As the only event of it’s kind, HARD never fails to offer the hardest and heaviest talent in the electronic world. I think it says something when there is a loud buzz going around even the artists scheduled in the opening time slots. Located at the Shrine of Downtown Los Angeles, Hard’s two stages – one inside and one outside – hold 10,000 people and tickets are undoubtedly going to sell out as they do every year. Each day, both stages are overflowing with the booming performers of this year. I would rattle off some of the anticipated names, but I find myself listing 75% of the lineup every time someone asks me who I am excited to see.
